Local Activties
Your hosts Jason Tardiff and Taffy Witham are avid outdoors people who love to snowmobile, ATV, hunt, fish, and enjoy all that Northern Maine has to offer. Our goal is to provide you with a "Home away from home", experience while you enjoy recreational activities in the areas surrounding Sinclair, Maine.
The main lodge and adjacent camp sit right on the southern tip of beautiful long lake. We have direct access to the lake and trails during all seasons for whatever adventure you,and your family and friends choose to go on.
Our personal experiences with outdoor recreational activities help to provide you with a one of a kind outdoor experience, while still providing you with all the amenities that you are used to having in your normal daily lives.
We enjoy providing ATV and Snowmobile tours for our guests upon request. You tell us where and for how long, and we will tailor a trip that's right for you and your group.

There are so many activities to do while you stay with us at the Lakeside lodge. Winter months bring over a thousand miles of some of the best snowmobiling riding in the country. Start your sled and drive across the street and you are on the ITS trails. You also have direct lake access to some of the best ice fishing in the state. Don't forget to gas up or grab some provisions for your ride at Martins General Store across the street. Breakfast in the morning is fabulous!
Spring, summer, and fall months bring a plethora of outdoor activities such as site-seeing, swimming, biking, ATVing, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, fishing, and hunting. A moose siting is almost guaranteed along RT 161 and RT 162 to the lodge. Route 161 is called "Moose Alley" for good reason. We have moose, deer, bald eagles, otters, ducks, geese, and many other spectacular wildlife to look at and photograph. We have a welcome binder in each room listing all the local stores, restaurants, and places to see during your stay with us. Come see what the Crown of Maine has to offer!
